Introducing Small Plates Records, a label-based cooperative from the hearts and minds of my blog brothers at I Guess I’m Floating and me. We’ve been talking about this (obsessively) over the past few weeks and we’re super stoked to be working together. Connor and Nathaniel have been rockin’ their blog since forever (in blog years) and I have mad respect for them as writers, critics, businessmen and music-lovin’ dudes. I couldn’t be happier with teaming up with such excellent fellas.
Connor writes, “We’re thrilled to launch Small Plates with the debut vinyl release from NYC’s Guards (who we know you’ve read about). This 7″ release has three tracks: ‘Resolution of One’ is on the a-side, while the double b-side has ‘Crystal Truth’ and ‘Long Time’.
We’ve pressed a limited quantity of 500 copies on multi-colored vinyl (what some have called a “glorious orgy of color”) from URP.
